Hero's Smashes are not only fairly difficult to land, and easy to punish, but smash attacks are usually kills anyway so the crit doesn't make a real difference 9 times out of 10. The crits arent terribly common, and only happen on Smash attacks. You're bullshitting when you say the RNG gives unskilled players easy wins. His kit isn't overpowered at all, it's perfectly fine. It’s like a boomer meme creator entered Smash subreddit. Now, I’ll stop replying to your one sentence “hear me child” responses. It’s like going “Hero is bRoKeN” and then going in the comments and saying “20% of the time teehee”. You were just wrong and backtracked to another wrong argument. You said he was pay to win, and in your second comment of a post you are saying he is only pay to win in the significantly less popular Team Battle. That’s also just complete misuse of the word elaboration. You can’t be as slow in Team Battle, especially if the opponents are aggressive. Hero likes 1v1 because if he gets advantage or puts the opponent at ledge, he can threaten an option like Magic Burst or pretty much any strong RNG, or even something like Kafrizz. I’m not expecting a coherent response to this, so I’ll consider this sad excuse for an argument over.Īnyway, are you suggesting that rushdown characters do not exist in team battles, or that they are somehow less effective against Hero in a team battle? And what about Team Attack being on, and how that affects some of his wide range attacks like Magic Burst? Or what about the simple fact that regardless of Team Attack, Hero often wouldn’t be able to catch a breath in a team battle unless advantage was gained over both opponents. Instead, you resort to calling everyone who disagrees with you (the majority) dumb fucks, because you’re still stuck in the middle schooler mindset that you have a galaxy brain and everyone else is a peasant. You just don’t want to admit you were wrong, so you returned to an abandoned 14 day old thread in attempt to deflect logic one more time. People are upset about the huge amount of RNG in the character, not that he is “pay to win”. Just because Hero isn’t free doesn’t mean he is pay to win, and simply pointing out that he costs money isn’t an argument about whether or not he is OP. By the logic in your most recent argument, every single DLC is pay to win because you have to pay for it and you can win. The thing is, you know this, because the logic is too easy on this one. Just because something is paid for doesn’t mean it is pay to win. Pretty sad that I had to spell that out but unfortunately the average IQ of this subreddit is far lower than I initially thought.Įdit: even pros are saying he is op. It is PAY since this first is a DLC which costs money. This makes him PAY TO WIN since he costs money and his kit can allow someone to win more games with him than with any other character if they are of equal skill with both fighters outsude of the luck factors. This is why he needs a REWORK and not a nerf, as previously stated. where is the fun in that? He needs a rework desperately, a nerf won't do it.įor the numerous dumb fucks, I think he is over powered because the RNG factor of his kit gives a RANDOM advantage, not because I think his whole kit is over powered. His rng gives unskilled players a chance to beat better players just off luck. I tried to give this fighter a chance, but his kit is just overpowered. If you did not create something, then you should not post it. Do not abuse the spoiler tag for posts like "fake leaks," etc. Online tournament advertising is acceptable. Any conversation about politics or current smash drama will be removed. Also, just because a character is in smash does not make content associated with that character relevant. Content is off topic if it does not relate directly to Smash Bros Ultimate. Please direct these posts to the Weekly Discussion Post stickied at the top of the Subreddit. Finding something IRL that reminds you of Smash, like something that resembles a Smash Ball, also falls under this rule. Common meme templates such as fake "leaks" and rants/shallow discussions will be removed. Ultimate, released for the Nintendo Switch on December 7th, 2018! RULES:īe excellent to one another.
